Mayflower Chilli Black Bean Sauce

Our Chilli Black Bean Sauce is perfect for a quick, easy and above all delicious Chinese meal. This flavoursome sauce, with a mild spicy kick goes perfectly with Chicken, Beef or Seafood. The sauce comes ready to add straight to the wok.

 

Store in a cool dry place. Once opened, keep refrigerated.

Ingredients: Water, Sugar, Rapeseed Oil, Soy Sauce (Water, Soybeans, Salt, Sugar, Wheat Flour, Preservative: E202), Black Beans, Chilli Sauce (Water, Chilli (25%), Sugar, Garlic, Modified Corn Starch, Salt, Acetic Acid), Ginger, Red Chillies, Cornflour, Flavour Enhancer: E621, Stabiliser E415, Garlic (Sulphites), Flavouring, White Pepper.

Produced in a factory that handles Nuts, Peanuts and Sesame.

  • STEP 1: Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large frying pan wok.
     
  • STEP 2: Stir-fry 70-80g of sliced lean beef, chicken or seafood until partly cooked.
     
  • STEP 3: Add 80g of sliced mixed vegetables such as onion, carrots, bamboo shoots, red and green peppers.
     
  • STEP 4: Continue to stir-fry for 1 minute.
     
  • STEP 5: Add 130g of Mayflower Chilli Black Bean Sauce.
     
  • STEP 6: Bring back to heat and continue cooking for 30 seconds or until the whole mixture is piping hot.
     
  • STEP 7: Serve with white rice or fried rice.
